ATS case in court

The Federated Airlines Staff Association (FASA) has taken Air Terminal Services (Fiji) Ltd (ATS) to court.

The matter will be called for the second time on July 1. The matter was first called before Justice Mansoor last Wednesday at the Employment court. FASA lawyer Niven Padarath said they were challenging the dismissal of 285 workers by ATS.

ATS, in a statement two weeks ago, said they had to lay-off workers because of the impact of COVID-19 on the business.
