-

CHARLES CHAMBERS

Two aviation companies have teamed up to give locals a chance to experience adventure in the sky.

Skydive Fiji and Heli-Tours are introducing local rates for locals to experience skydiving.

The move is a reflection of their support for Tourism Fiji’s Love Our Local campaign.

The two companies operate under the parent company Joyce Aviation.

Local promotion

Kini Saukuru, group marketing and business development manager for Joyce Aviation, said they wanted to give people something to do which they had never dreamt of doing and at an affordable price.

“Skydive Fiji and Heli-Tours Fiji currently local promotion which has been a hit within the domestic market,” Ms Saukuru said.

“Since the launch of the local specials, guests have travelled from as far as Nausori for skydive and helicopter scenic flight.”

Suva introductory joy flights

As the Suva introductory joy flights were a huge hit, Heli-Tours will now return on July 11 after popular demand from the public.

Guests

Guests have a choice to pick either to do skydiving or helicopter scenic flight, at a very affordable rate in Nadi.

“With the international borders still closed, we have had to run commercial charters domestically, in addition to the current local specials with skydiving and helicopter.

“Skydive and Heli-Tours have always had local specials available, however due to the current global economic situation, we have had to further discount our rates.

“These specials will run in the next couple of months, in order to stimulate the local market.”
