Many markets are sprouting around the country. One particular market told its vendors if they sold their goods at other markets, they would not be welcomed back. How sad is this?

OPPOSITION TENSION

Tensions remain high at the Opposition Office as the party leader visited his office yesterday morning. The party’s suspension may have been lifted, but internal rivalry still remains. Must be uncomforta­ble for staff members who are caught wondering in the middle!

VITIVOU?

The proposed Vitivou political party that is being touted in some quarters to be the next big thing from the divided SODELPA camp is causing confusion among some. They only know of a popular shop with the same name along Rewa Street.

FREEHOLD LAND

Villagers at a talanoa session with the PM yesterday in Savusavu were told that once land is converted into Freehold Land it does not belong to them anymore. They were told if their ancestors had sold the land in exchange for tools and guns, they should consider the land sold.
