Man on sexualrelated charges remanded

A 54-year-old man has been remanded in custody and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault.

The accused, is charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.

It is alleged that between March and July of last year in Namalata Village, Vanuabalavu in the Eastern Division, the accused had raped an underage girl on two different occasions. The case was transferred to the High Court adjourned to July 17.
