32 ARRESTED INCLUDE TEENAGE STUDENTS

THE WESTERN DIVISION RECORDED 24 ARRESTS WHEREBY 16 OF THOSE ARRESTED WERE ALLEGEDLY FOUND DRUNK, INCLUDING TWO STUDENTS AGED 15 AND 16 YEARS OLD.

Five people were arrested in the Southern Division including a 14-year-old student who was allegedly found loitering at the Maunikoso area in Nasinu. Three other cases were related to alcohol including a 29-year-old man who allegedly resisted arrest and allegedly assaulted two officers when approached. He also allegedly damaged Police vehicles in Lami. The Northern Division recorded three cases.

All people were arrested for allegedly drinking at the Tuatuta area in Labasa.
