No public activity, access to July 4 celebration in Houston
Houston: There was no public activity and access to the annual Houston Fourth of July celebration on Saturday night as COVID-19 continues its rapid spread in the U.S. state of Texas.
According to the Texas Health and Human Services, as of Saturday, there are 191,790 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in the state, an increase of 8,258 from last Friday.
The death toll reached 2608.
“Freedom Over Texas,” Houston’s annual Fourth of July celebration, was without public activities or public access.
