Hurricanes stop Pita Gus and Chiefs
Pita Gus Sowakula (pictured) and the Chiefs can say goodbye to winning the rebranded Super Rugby Aotearoa competition. Winless after four rounds, the Chiefs fell short again going down at home 18-25 to the Hurricanes in Hamilton yesterday. With both sides being winless ahead of this match, there was plenty at stake but the Hurricanes were deserved winners in the end as they outscored their hosts three tries to one. The men from Wellington played most of the second half with 14 players after Scott Scrafton received two yellow cards. Osea Bola
