Situation: A trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the northern parts of Fiji. Associated cloud and showers affects the northern and eastern parts of the group. Showers expected to gradually affect the rest of the group from later today. Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji Group:
Occasional showers and few thunderstorms over Vanua Levu, Taveuni and the Northern Lau group. Cloudy with some showers and possible thunderstorms over the eastern parts and the interior of the other larger islands, Lomaiviti and Southern Lau group. Elsewhere, cloudy periods with brief showers. Showers becoming frequent from later today. Moderate east to southeast winds, fresh at times.
Moderate to rough seas.
Outlook for tomorrow: Occasional showers, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands, Lau and Lomaiviti group. Cloudy with some showers and isolated thunderstorms elsewhere.
For Navua / Suva / Nausori:
Cloudy with some showers and possible thunderstorms. Showers becoming frequent from later today. Outlook for tomorrow: Occasional showers, heavy at times and few thunderstorms.
