INSURANCE HOLDINGS PACIFIC APPOINTMENTS
Insurance Holdings (Pacific) Pte Ltd (IHL) announced the appointments to its executive leadership and broking teams.
Chairman of the IHL board of directors, John Bishop, said IHL made significant investments in its staff and systems which will enable IHL to offer robust value add services to its clients.
IHL will be unveiling an enhanced client touchpoint very shortly.
Mr Bishop said the outgoing country manager, Jason Nili, will be joining the IHL board as a director.
The transition will solidify business continuity and strengthen existing business relationships.
Insurance Holdings Pacific is an insurance broking company specializing in insurance broking, claims management, risk management and employee protection with global access to markets and insurers.
IHL has key global relationship partnership with Willis Group and Gallagher and Co.
Head of Operations
James Mastapha has 29 years of global financial services industry experience and has worked in operational roles in Fiji, Cook Islands and Papua New Guinea.
He has a Master in Business Administration from Central Queensland University and a Fiji Directors Certificate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr Mastapha will be based in IHL Suva Office.
Head of Broking
Ilyaz Koya has spent over 20 years in the insurance industry and has extensive experience in the placement and management of Insurance programs for Corporate clients in Fiji and globally.
He has a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) from the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and has been admitted as a Senior Associate CIP.
He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr Koya will be based in IHL Suva Office
Financial Controller
Ramita Nandan has spent 11 years with IHL and is responsible for managing the day to day accounting functions and ensuring compliance with regulatory authority, Reserve Bank of Fiji
She has a Bachelor of Arts, with double majors in Accounting and Economics from USP, Suva and is an Associate Member of CPA Australia.
She will be based in IHL Nadi.
Account Manager/Nadi Branch Broker Team Leader
Joji Butadroka has had a successful and distinguished career spanning several decades in the Insurance and legal field.
He has a LLB, PDLP from USP, Suva and is currently enrolled with Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance for Senior Associate CIP accreditation.
He will be based in IHL Nadi Office.
Senior Account Manager
Sarah Chand has spent over 18 years in the Insurance Industry and has experience in the placement and management of insurance programs for clients in Fiji and in the Pacific Region.
She has Diplomas in Information Systems and Information Technology and a Certificate from Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.She will be based in IHL Suva Office.
