39 ARRESTS WERE MADE DURING THE FRIDAY CURFEW PERIOD.

ACCORDING TO POLICE, THE MAJORITY OF THOSE ARRESTED BETWEEN 11PM TO 4-AM WERE FOUND DRUNK.

The Western Division recorded 16 arrests, which included eight people who were allegedly drunk. All ten cases recorded in the Eastern Division are alleged to be in relation to alcohol including a juvenile who was allegedly found with three others in the Nausori Town area. Eight cases were recorded in the Southern Division.

The Northern Division recorded three cases.
