FAKE EMAIL

FIJI REVENUE AND CUSTOMS SERVICES (FRCS) HAS MADE A POLICE COMPLAINT REGARDING A PHOTOSHOPPED IMAGE OF A FAKE EMAIL PURPORTING BUDGET FIGURES WERE INFLATED. FRCS acting chief executive Fane Vave said after extensive checks it was found that no email from former CEO Visvanatah Das was sent. She said they would not allow the independence of FRCS to be undermined by keyboard warriors.

Ms Vave said the cyber division of the Fiji Police Force would be investigating the matter.
