TRIAL FOR IFEREIMI BUA SET FOR AUGUST 3-7

The High Court in Suva has set August 3 to August 7 for the trial of a 44-year-old man facing a charge of act with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Ifereimi Bua appeared before Judge Justice Daniel Goundar yesterday.

It is alleged that on October 1, 2018, at Moala in Lau, with intent to cause grievous harm to Mosese Tikoisuva, Bua unlawfully wounded Mr Tikoisuva by striking him with a stick.

Justice Goundar ordered Bua to appear in court for his trial and warned him that if he failed to appear, the trial would proceed in absentia.
