Seeto family to mark one year anniversary

Tomorrow the Seeto family, will mark the one year anniversary of the passing of Dixon Seeto.

Mr Seeto left big shoes to fill at the Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association and the tourism industry as whole.

He was the association’s driving force as president and was manager director of the Hexagon Group of Hotels.

He was a hardworking, diligent leader who ensured that the tourism industry was well represented and heard. Mr Seeto worked for Air Pacific (now Fiji Airways) for many years, Tappoos, Blue Lagoon Cruises and also Warwick Hotel before joining Hexagon. Hexagon managing director Hafiz Khan said after a year of Mr Seeto’s passing, the industry was still feeling his loss.

“I personally feel it too because he was my friend for more than 50 years, and I also lost a managing director.

“He was a leader who carefully managed the industry.” Mr Seeto was always a dedicated family man.
