Situation: AA trough of low pressure lies over the country and is gradually moving southeastwards. Associated cloud and showers are expected to continue to affect the group till later today.

Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji Group: Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands. Elsewhere, cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms especially in the afternoon and evening. Isolated heavy falls possible. Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas. Moderate east to northeast winds. Moderate seas.

Outlook for tomorrow: Cloudy periods with brief showers over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands. Elsewhere, mainly fine.

For Navua / Suva / Nausori: Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Outlook for tomorrow: Cloudy periods with brief showers.

For Sigatoka / Coral Coast: Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstor ms especially in the after noon and evening.
