Sarah Ferguson Proved ‘Unwavering’ Loyalty to Andrew by Staying Out of Wedding Photoshoot

Sarah Ferguson ‘proved her unwavering loyalty to Prince Andrew’ by staying out of Princess Beatrice’s wedding snaps, a royal expert has claimed.

The couple’s eldest daughter married her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a secret wedding last Friday, in front of just a handful of their closest family. The Royal Family have released five photos from the day, but while they feature the Queen and Prince Philip, the bride’s parents are nowhere to be seen.

Jenny Bond believes the family made a conscious decision to leave him out the snaps.

She told the Daily Mail : “Being royal means that almost everything you do and say will be recorded and analysed, which pretty much rules out spontaneity. So you can be sure that the wedding pictures released by the Palace, omitting Prince Andrew, was done deliberately.

“My guess is that Princess Beatrice’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, was proving her unwavering loyalty to Prince Andrew by staying out of the pictures, too. Both, however, are all the more conspicuous by their absence.”

She also says that the fact the Queen and Phil left their safelockdown home to attend the celebrations “speaks volumes about how close they are to her”.

Jenny says the Queen has been “exemplary in supporting her grandchildren” during the challenging times, and suggests this is one of the reasons she would have agreed to loan Beatrice her dress and tiara.
