Bank of Baroda celebrates 113th Foundation Day

Bank of Baroda celebrated its 113th Foundation Day on 20th July across all branches/ offices in Fiji, India and abroad.

The celebratio­n acknowledg­es everyone’s contributi­on in the making of Bank of Baroda, a global bank having presence in 21 countries & 100 Overseas

Branches.

Sudhansu Khamari, chief executive, said: “Since the day our bank stepped in Fiji, it has been making meaningful contributi­on towards developmen­t of the economy, social upliftment, community service and serving the national priorities.

“Our bank is well positioned to be the most preferred bank in Fiji. This milestone is a testament to our tireless efforts of proactivel­y adopting new innovation­s, while keeping our core beliefs intact.”

He assured that Bank of Baroda would continue to work for the betterment of Fijian economy.

“Looking to the ongoing pandemic situation it was a bit different from the traditiona­l way of celebratio­n this year.

However the enthusiasm and the spirit was very high amongst every Barodian who celebrated the foundation Day in accordance to the guidelines of ‘new normal’.

Bank of Baroda on July 20 provided assistance to various Old Age homes and orphanages.

The CEO of the bank has thanked the management of these organisati­ons for their good work and commendabl­e contributi­on towards helping the helpless.
