The current Fiji Corrections Service Commissioner, Commander Francis Kean’s term as Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) chairman is now over, but the majority rugby lovers appreciate the many changes and achievements that came about during his term.

This does show off the true personal character of the person, professionalism, and discipline with perseverance to achieve nothing but the best for Fiji rugby during a very difficult period and that is a legacy in itself.

From a career senior Naval Officer, to his postings as a senior civil servant [permanent secretaries] and now may be his final salute before retirement as Fiji Corrections Service Commissioner apart from the many of his sporting achievements and as board member of the many government’s statutory authorities.

We bid him farewell for now from the FRU HQ and thank you Francis for being true to all your many callings of service for the country together with your many personal sacrifices, but for those of us who know you personally, this may not be your last Hooray Turaga!

One thing your circles do know, standing for election as a candidate is just around the corner, mark my word boys!
