More blockbuster movies delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic
Los Angeles: With movie theatres closed across the United States for the indefinite future, a trio of highprofile sequels have been pushed to later release dates.
Paramount Pictures has pushed A Quiet Place II and Top Gun: Maverick from their 2020 dates into 2021, due to COVID-19, according to Variety. Sony Pictures has also pushed their highly-anticipated sequel to last year’s Spider-Man: Far From Home further into 2021.
A Quiet Place II was originally slated to hit theatres on March 20, before it was pushed to September 4, though it will now be released on April 23, 2021.
