George Shiu Raj

George Shiu Raj has been appointed as one of the vice presidents of SODELPA.

It was interesting what he said after his appointment: “I want to promote a balanced party with all races, love and unity was the way forward and all races working together for the good of the nation.”

Welcome back George, it seems you still don’t see the reality and you did not listen to what the Prime Minister said: “They don’t seem to understand that bipartisanship requires agreement, we are poles apart from the agreement, they preach a divisive society, we don’t.”

SODELPA does not have policies on what you may be dreaming about. SODELPA’S policies are all race-based.

While new issues with policies may emerge from time to time — maintaining multiracialism has, and will always be impossible for SODELPA. Race-based affirmative action is not the way to go.

George you might have a genuine desire but desires are not enough to unite the people of Fiji. You need to see the policies of the FijiFirst Government. Those policies are genuinely about uniting people.

If you are genuine then be vocal within your party for changes, otherwise you will keep dreaming. People are neither blind nor deaf.
