Situation: A trough of low pressure lies slow moving just to the west of Viti Levu and is gradually moving towards the country. The associated clouds and showers is expected to affect the group till tomorrow.

Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji Group:

Occasional showers and few thunderstorms over most places. Isolated heavy falls expected. Showers gradually clearing over western parts of the country from later tomorrow. Moderate to fresh northeasterly winds. Moderate to rough seas.

Outlook for tomorrow: Cloudy periods with brief showers over the southeastern parts and interior of larger islands. Fine apart from possible afternoon or evening showers elsewhere. Cool at night.

For Navua / Suva / Nausori: Occasional showers and few thunderstorms. Isolated heavy falls expected.

Outlook for tomorrow: Cloudy periods with brief showers. Cool at night.

For Sigatoka / Coral Coast:

Occasional showers and few thunderstorms. Isolated heavy falls expected.
