Gloria Jean’s Expands BBQ Menu

Corn on a cob will soon make it to the menu at Gloria Jean’s Thurston Street and Nasese cafes.

Such has been the success of the franchise since it launched its Friday and Sunday barbecue menus. Owners Everfresh Investment­s Pte Ltd said the response has been overwhelmi­ng at Thurston Street cafe that they decided to extend the weekend barbecue menu to its Nasese cafe.

Everfresh is the de Asa family company which holds the Fijian master franchise for the AmericanAu­stralian global brand.

Gloria Jean’s Thurston Street cafe has been a bustling corner during its weekly operations.

The cafe opens Mondays to Fridays from 7am to 7pm and has drawn a regular crowd since its recent opening.

Its Nasese cafe opens seven days, but closes at 1pm on Sundays.

The price of serves vary between

$5.95 to $9.95.

•Babercue lamb chops, sausage and fries with salad - $9.95.

•Barbecue chicken thigh/drum stick and fries with salad - $7.95.

•Barbecue sausage and fries with salad - $5.95.

•Barbercue kebab and fries with salad - $7.95.

Bbq burger and fries with salad $9.95.

Everfresh Investment­s Pte Ltd said aside from corn on a cob, the cafes barbecue menu would feature other exciting side dishes.

“We’re testing out recipes for this purpose at the moment.”
