Babasiga Lions working hard, says Lal

Labasa is ready to defend the Punjas Battle of the Giants (B.O.G) tournament which kicks off on Friday at Churchill Park, Lautoka.

Coach Ronil Lal said they knew it would be tough and they’re doing the necessary preparatio­ns to excel.

He said the Babasiga Lions were optimistic of meeting the objective and training was well attended. “We’ve been working hard as we are in a tough pool,”Lal said.

The Babasiga Lions are Pool A with Suva, Ba and Nasinu and the northerner­s will play the men from the capital side at 2pm.

He said Suva was very good side and they have a plan to beat them.
