Tailevu need to double effort: Matea
After an impressive win against Lautoka last week Tailevu want to score another win in round three of the Skipper Cup Premiership against Nadroga at Ratu Cakobau Park on Saturday.
Team manager Levani Matea said the team would have to lift their performance against the wounded Stallions.
“We know Nadroga is tough and we will have to work hard on our fitness,” he said. “I reminded the boys last week in the changing room at Churchill Park that we will be hosting Nadroga and we need to double our effort.
“After last week’s loss to Namosi, Nadroga would be hungry for a win.
“The players know and understand what is expected of them and they need to perform to their level best.”
Matea is calling on Tailevu fans to support the team.
“This is the first time we will be playing at home and I plead for fans to show up and support us,” he said.
