Homeward bound A. Samoans exempt from Apia quarantine
Pago Pago: American Samoan residents travelling through Samoa from Fiji on a repatriation flight will not be quarantined in Apia, but must depart for the territory as soon as possible. The Samoa government amended State of Emergency orders to say the travellers were not subject to quarantine but still had to recieve medical clearance.
The travellers are able to fly from Fiji as part of a chartered flight organised by a company who also has workers stranded in Apia. Passengers bound for American Samoa include students studying in Fiji and returning doctors.
