South Sea Cruises Ready Corporate Groups

South Sea Cruises will commence operations for local corporate organisati­ons planning to take retreats or social weekends.

South Sea Cruises operate vessels out of Port Denarau Marina, and have received and confirmed a number of bookings for cruises supporting Tourism Fiji’s Love Our Locals initiative.

“We are opening South Sea Island’s full day cruise from November 28 and every Saturday and Sunday until December 27, 2020, to cater for the local and corporate market over the festive season,” South Sea Cruises Pte Limited’s general manager – Fiji and Asia sales Loretta St Julian-Ooms said.

South Sea Island is located in the Mamanucas, 30-minutes by boat from Denarau.

“The offer is for 10 passengers or more,” she said.

“Passengers would be transferre­d by a 30-minute ride by a high speed catamaran from Port Denarau to South Sea Island, which is surrounded by crystal clear waters and coral reefs.

“Try snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, swimming in the fresh water pool or sea, or just laze about on the beach.

“To top off your day, a tasty barbecue buffet lunch with local beer, house wine, bottled water and soft drinks is included in the price while you are ashore,” Ms St Juliam-Ooms said.

Adults who want alcohol as part of their full day cruise package pay $109. Adults who do not wish to consume alcohol, pay $99 for South Sea Island’s full day cruise.

Children between 5 years to 15 years pay $49 each.

Children under 5 years of age travel free of charge.

• Depart 9am from Port Denarau and return at 5pm.

• Barbecue and salad lunch buffet.

• Compliment­ary local Fiji beer and house wine (alcohol inclusive package only), soft drinks and bottled water while on the island.

• Guided snorkeling trip.

• Salt water swimming pool.
