Digtrac Pte Limited and RPA Group Fiji Limited’s joint effort would bring great relief to the Savusavu community. This after the two companies fixed the poor road condition at the Savusavu Sub-divisional Hospital on Monday, August 10.

It was a quick response after the Fiji Sun published the residents’ prolonged concerns about the road condition on Sunday, August 9.

Digtrac Pte Limited owner Graham Haynes and his son Leonard Haynes said they would do anything for their community.

“We are aware and we understand the negative impacst of coronavirus pandemic,” Mr Haynes said.

“Hence, we decided to pull out our resources and manpower to assist the Fiji Roads Authority’s contractor.”

He said the safety of patients and their families were paramount for him as it was the only sub-divisional hospital in Savusavu. Meanwhile, RPA Group Fiji Limited North manager Sunia Baravilala said he was thankful to Mr Haynes and his family.

“We both agreed to use resources for the betterment of the Savusavu community,” Mr Baravilala said. “Although it took us one whole day to complete the work, we are happy to bring great relief to the motorists and the medical staff of the hospital.”
