Special Package Planned from SUVA AS SOfiTEL REOPENING SOON
Sofitel Fiji Beach Resort and Spa has added a new dimension to the Love our Locals initiative and this involves flights, airport pick up and transfers.
It will be just like any tourist flying into Fiji -meet and greet welcome transferred to resort and vice versa when departing.
The resort’s director sales and marketing Michael Bell said with the resort planning to reopen under the initiative mooted by Tourism Fiji on September 11, the arrangement was yet to be finalised.
“We have met with Damend Gounder (managing director Tour Managers Fiji Ltd inbound tourist operator) who is working with Fiji Link for a package deal for visitors coming in from Suva,” Mr Bell said. Mr Gounder confirmed Thursday, saying the full package deal would be launched next and includes the air fares.
Mr Bell said he was working with Mr Gounder on the transfers of local guests flying into Nadi from Suva on the last flight on Friday, September 11.
“These guests will arrive and be picked up by Tour Managers in their professional transport and transported to Sofitel,” Mr Bell said.
“On Sunday, they would be picked up somewhere around 4pm by Tour Managers again, transported to the airport to catch the last Fiji Link flight back to Nausori which is around 5.15pm,” Mr Bell said.
He added the package deal for those coming from Suva would include airfares, transportation, accommodation and meals and the return passage.
“We have some sharp deals in this package. “There would also be meet and greet for our guests from Suva at the Nadi Airport upon arrival.”
