Ashift in customer behaviour towards businesses has prompted a meat wholesaler to give back to its customers who have been loyal supporters since day one. With Father’s day this week, it was the opportune time for a small medium enterprise (SME) Global Gift Initiative (Fiji) to reward its customers.

The business ran a father’s day promotion

targeting existing and new customers. Director Joji Fatiaki said although mainstream advertising of the promotion was not budgeted for, Father’s day was also an important event of the year.

“As a young business it was important that we also start promotions for important events in the remaining months of the year,”Mr Fatiaki said.

“To all the fathers out there, it may be true that we live in unprecedented times but we must never give up as leaders. We have a God given, important part to play and we must ensure to lead the way.”

Draw for the Father’s day promotion was held at the Rotisserie at the Laucala Beach Estate.

The Rotisserie managing partner Felisha Tuiloma hopes that families would spend more time with their father.

She said people have become spare time for family.

“People say every day is Father’s day but at least take the time to get off your phone and sit together, have a nice lunch.”

Prizes

Winners of the promotion were gifted a one night’s accommodation at The Pearl Resort, inclusive of breakfast and a Father’s day lunch at The Rotisserie for four to accompany the winner.
