Photo contest to celebrate best dads

It’s that exciting time of the year again when we celebrate Father’s day, a time to give back and remember the hard work of all fathers.

For the hardware company R.C.Manubhai & Pte Co. Ltd, it was a time to give back to their loyal father customers through a photo contest.

RC Manubhai’s Father’s day photo contest is a Facebook only campaign which complemented the company’s current Father’s day in-store promotion.

It involved staff and customers to post a picture of their father on R.C Manubhai’s Faceook page. Marketing team leader for the Suva branch Atish Singh said with the current economic situation caused by COVID-19 pandemic, Father’s day was the opportune time to reward loyal dads.

“Our focus for 2019 was mainly promotional sales, but this year our management insisted on giving back to our valued customers and gift vouchers to ensure that winners can choose from our wide range of quality brands and products depending on what they may require,” he said.

“With the theme ‘Only The

Best For Dad This Father’s Day’, the photo contest paid tribute to love, care and appreciation of all hardworking dad’s across Fiji,” he said.

Mr Singh said the Father’s day photo contest commenced on August 26, 2020.

“We have received positive feedback towards this contest, we have generated a lot of interest with the general public and people have been contacting us asking about the contest as well as how they can get more likes on Facebook.
