City Teams Show Force
City teams Suva and Lautoka proved that they are a force to reckon with as the second cluster of the Skipper Cup Premiership competition kicks off this Saturday.
They are the form teams after the completion of the first cluster (sev
en rounds) at the weekend.
Suva undeniably won it outright in the 37-12 demolition of Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy champions Namosi.
The capital city showed it has so much firepower in reserve. And the potent mix of experienced heads and enterprising young bloods make the future look bright for NOQU Suva. With a show of power, force, skills and flair, they took Namosi apart although the Asaeli Boko-coached side tried to stay in the game until the end.
Avenging 1st round loss
Suva led 13-8 before Nadroga was awarded the penalty try to lose 1315 in the first round. On Saturday, it would be an opportunity to avenge the defeat and avoid the Stallions of bolting away at the death.
