The New-Methodist Christian Fellowship ( NCF) church is now giving an open invitation opportunity for couples who would like to have a virtual holy matrimony ceremony.

It is the first of its kind as the idea emerged after the church performed a Virtual Child Ordainment of more than 300 children who were members around the world.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic impacts experienced in the country, many couple marriages have not been prayed over or blessed as most cannot afford what is required and are just looking for an easy way out.

“Most marriages are done through Government offices to qualify for the marriage licence and it has been the only moment to remember their lifetime promise of life together,” the church said.

“Most do not belong to any denominations nor have the ability to prepare the needful for this occasion.

“We would like to provide the opportunity to anyone who is willing to be prayed upon and speak their heart felt genuine vows to be blessed in the presence of God.”

The invitation is open to anyone and interested couples do not necessarily have to be a member of NCF.

A certified copy of the marriage certificate and other relevant details are to be submitted to the church.

The invitation is also for those who wish to renew their marriage vows. “To those who have faltered, divorced and back together, victims of domestic violence, returning spouses, etc – for another fresh start with God as the anchor; second chance at marriage to work,” the church said.
