Moore hits back at MP Qereqeretabua

Mr Moore, who wrote the letter in his personal capacity, relayed how he worked in Fiji for three years in an extremely intense and very serious environment.
According to him there appears to be a persistent problem of politicisation of issues and organisations that should not be politicised, as was recently demonstrated by opposition member of parliament, Lenora Qereqeretabua, after she distorted comments he had made in a TV interview. “I am not singling out Ms Qereqeretabua in this, many of her peers seem to do the same on a regular basis, she is simply the latest of many that is misleading the public,” Mr Moore said.
“It is yet another example of having what I had said to the press, being taken out of context and used to further an ‘interest’.”
On her personal Facebook account, Ms Qereqeretabua posted, “Another Expat CEO finds out the truth about working in Fiji with Government bosses. I can just hear him; Wailei, never before have I worked in a more stressful environment controlled by so much fear of certain Government people! Fact of the matter, Luv. Tell that to your High Commission, Mr Moore! Thank you for trying. Meanwhile, our roads...?”
