“As such we have no other options but to defer all the matches to next week.

“I would like to thank the unions for the support. We are working with the venue owners to rebook the venues for next week’s matches and the unions will be advised of the venues for the deferred rounds in the next few days.

“We understand that a few unions wanted to proceed with the matches but we have made the decision so that all team take a break this week.

“Our competition was planned to commence in March, but we have had to reschedule when given the greenlight (COVID-19 Compliant) and no one would ever foresee us still playing during this period and we thank the unions for their support and understanding.”
