The Tertiary Scholarshi­p and Loans Board wishes to remind all Fijians that applicatio­ns are still open till January 24, for the:

National Toppers Scholarshi­p,

Local

Scholarshi­p Scheme for Students with Special Needs, Tertiary Education Loans Scheme for New Students, • Technical College of Fiji Students students who have completed Year 12 in 2017 or thereafter for the approved engineerin­g programmes offered by the Fiji National University.

Applicatio­ns for Tertiary Education Loans Scheme for Existing Students, Public Sector Employees and Private Sector Employees closed on December 31, 2020 for those wishing to apply for assistance for academic term one of 2021.

Processing for these schemes have commenced and is expected to be completed by January 22, 2021.

Tertiary Education Loans Scheme for TCF Students - 49 Tertiary Education Loans Scheme for Year 12 students for FNU Engineerin­g programmes - 7

Students who have completed Year 12 or 13 in 2020, are reminded that they must register and apply before January 24, 2021. This is even if they do not have their Year 12/13 results, final programme offer letter, rent/hostel agreement or evidence of residentia­l address from where they will be travelling for classes.

Students must register and complete all other aspects of the applicatio­n before January 24. They will still be given time till February 19, to upload the Year 12/13 results, final programme offer letter, rent/hostel agreement or evidence of residentia­l address.

The board also requests students who are facing difficulti­es in applying, particular­ly those from the areas affected by Cyclone Yasa to contact their office nearest to them for assistance.
