Indulge Branches Out To Coffee
Indulge Cafe and Wine shop will officially launch its operations on January 29, 2021, owner, Neil Underhill, said.
The cafe and wine shop is located at #5 Industrial Road, Denarau., Nadi, and opens 7am to 4pm, Mondays to Fridays.
“It’s at the end of the cul-de-sac where the industrial area is, on your left as you go through the main security gates when you enter Denarau,” Mr Underhill.
Indulge was initially a wine retailing arm of Lawhill Wines, which dates back some years from its Lami head office.
The cafe and wine shop has been softly operating for two months, but recently changed the interior to combine with the retail wine shop called Indulge.
“Our coffee is freshly roasted to order through our sister company Fiji Coffee,” Mr Underhill said.
“We believe that it is the only café where you can sit, relax and enjoy your coffee in air-conditioned comfort, and at the same time look at our outstanding wine offering.”
Small groups play Mahjong at the cafe, he said.
“The ambience is great, the service is great, and the coffee sensational, because of its freshness,” Mr Underhill said.
“Our competitive advantage is our coffee is freshly roasted.
“The difference is significant.”
Mr Underhill said he recently tried a cappuccino made from roasted beans imported from Australia, and realised immediately the beans were roasted a considerable time ago.
“When I enquired about what coffee it was, I saw that the roasting date was December, 2019,” he said.
“I still have the packet in my office for verification.
Great freshly roasted coffee
“If you are looking for a great freshly roasted coffee, it is worth a stop over.
“We supply six choices of pies and several choices of pastries.
“We also offer freshly prepared salads, chicken, prawn and vegetable dumplings, chicken, prawn and vegetable spring rolls, and vegetable Vietnamese summer rolls.”
The café is located in an warehouse.
“It is incorporated into our “Indulge Denarau” wine store,” Mr Underhill said.
Industrial rustic

The décor is industrial rustic, plain concrete floor, simple and minimal finishings.
“There are several places to sit, chat and relax, and we, of course, have the grab & go service,” he said
“On the last Friday of each month, we have an “Indulge Try&Buy” wine tasting evening.
“For $25, you get to taste five outstanding wines.
“If you decide to buy even one bottle of the wines being tasted that evening, the $25 is credited against the purchase.” “The café is where this is held.” Branching out at coffee, from wine, was a natural extension of Lawhill Wines coffee supply business, he said.
“Plus, there are no café’s close by in the industrial area of Denarau,” Mr Lawhill said.
Gym
“There is a gym close to our location and the users of the gym previously had to travel to Port Denarau to purchase coffee.
“Now they buy from us.
“In addition, the idea of sitting and enjoying a coffee while looking a couple of bottles of wine kinda appealed to me. “And it appeals to our customers.
“For instance, last week we had a couple enjoying their coffees; they looked at some wines while drinking their coffee and left with $2000-plus in wine purchases.
“So we now offer a refund of your coffee purchase for any wine purchased over $50 per person.”
