The Westin Denarau Island Resort and Spa, Fiji launches a new breakfast menu to target healthy living and the local market. Resort Sous chef Rakesh Kumar said everything available on the menu was more affordable to the local market.

With the rise in non-communicable diseases and the current pandemic, Westin Denarau Island Resort and Spa, Fiji offers a menu where some of its main ingredients was sourced locally from the resort’s farm.

“At Westin, we believe that feeling good starts with eating well.

“We strive to make responsible decisions about how and where our ingredients are grown and actively seek out suppliers we trust,” said Mr Kumar.

“The menu is for both children and adults.

“There are options for those who have strict dietary requirements which we are happy to cater for.” Mr Kumar said the Westin Eat Well Menu was a branded section of chef selected dishes within the overall menu.

This section features a minimum of two to six signature dishes, depending on the meal period.

The resort has changed their menu several times to see what works well for their clients.

“We are passionate about providing options that fuel and energise guests without compromising flavour, taste and satisfaction.”

Westin teamed up with SuperChefs, dietitians, doctors and dentists to create an Eat Well Menu for Kids. “Our chefs are dedicated to educating children on the importance of eating smart and healthy.”
