SITUATION:

A weak trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the eastern parts of the country. Associated cloud and showers affects the eastern and northern parts of the country.

FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT TONIGHT FOR THE FIJI GROUP: Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms over Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti group and the eastern parts and interior of Viti Levu. Elsewhere, fine apart from afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms. Localised heavy falls likely. Moderate to fresh easterly winds. Moderate to rough seas.

OUTLOOK FOR TOMORROW: Cloudy periods with some showers over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands [Viti Levu and Vanua Levu]. Elsewhere, fine apart from afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms.
