Cuvu ropes in Buke

Nadroga and national left link Paulo Buke will play for Cuvu Sanatan at the 2021 Pratap Asphalt sponsored-Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha IDC at the Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka on Friday.

He took part in national training camp at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba two weeks ago.

“I am looking forward to the competitio­n at Lawaqa Park,” the policeman said.

“It is a good thing to play throughout the season. We expect the competitio­n to be tough.”

The side is in Pool Two with Ulusila, Nadi, Wairabetia, and Nabua.

Team executive Nitulesh Mali said: “The side has been beefed up with two Nadroga reps and nine from the Green Star Football Club and should be a team to watch.” Meanwhile, brothers and national team reps Anish Khem and Ashnil Raju will boost the chances for the defending champions Labasa.

The tournament gets underway on Friday where Labasa takes on Nasinu at 4.20 pm.
