‘A good newspaper is a nation talking to itself’

In the past three months I had to visit the CWM Hospital on various occasions.

The service and attention I received from the Staff, Nurses and Doctors was really good.

This involved Urology, ECG, Blood tests, Xrays, Pre-op and Operating Theatres.

The longest wait I endured was that of one-hour 20 minutes and these were at Urology(1st Visit) , X-Rays and Operating Theatres.

The downside was when I went to the CWM Pharmacy and was told that the antibiotic tablets , prescribed for me , were not in stock. I had to get these from my go to Pharmacy, Samabula Drug Store.

Now this, non-in-stock, has to do with the Administrators of the CWM Hospital.

All good inventory systems have a report known as “suggested Re-Order report” and if setup properly and utilised as it should be you will not end up with this no stock situation.

Mr Minister, Sir, to avoid being embarrassed in Parliament and on Social Media and for patients like us to go to private Pharmacies for our medicines some dead woods need to be removed from the Ministry of Health Administration Section , Fiji wide.

But nevertheless the care and attention from the CWM Medical Staff is really appreciated.

It appears that SODELPA is taking an awfully long time to investigate the loyalty of its parliamentary members.

It is clear to all that a majority of its parliamentary members are sympathetic to Rabuka and his views and are just biding their time at the expense of taxpayers.

What is the use of pretending and being in denial?

I suggest they speed up the loyalty investigation, expel those found to be disloyal and therefore in breach of the electoral laws and appoint the next in line.

I believe this is an ideal opportunity for the leadership to clean out all the ‘useless’ members of the party who have contributed exactly nothing in the last three years and bring in new and fresh faces and ideas.

This will not only be good for the party but for the country.

I believe they may fix some of the disunity issues at the same time. If they are unable to do it, send me a plane please.
