Customers Take Advantage of New Setting
Customers have been taking advantage of the wide range of items and the special prices at the new Fresh Choice Supermarket located in Walu Street, Lautoka. Days after its official opening on March 26, the supermarket has been providing an ideal atmosphere for shoppers who want to escape the hustle and bustle that comes with shopping in the main city area.
Shalendra Naidu of Drasa, Lautoka emphasised that prices were a bit competitive when compared to other supermarkets however; the shopping environment was relaxing. “This is my first day here. It is really nice and the supermarket is well planned, neat and tidy.
“The setting and everything is above standard and the wide range of products gives us the opportunity to get what we can afford.” Farun Latif, another Lautoka resident said the Fresh Choice coffee shop was an added advantage for families that wanted to stop for refreshments.
“They do have quite a good range of goods,” Mr Latif said.
“I am having a look around and possibly buying something,” he said
“My kids are enjoying freshly made coffee while we are shopping, it’s good for the kids to enjoy because some of the kids, they don’t want to move around so it’s better for them to sit down.”
Travelling all the way from Maururu, Ba Nicholas and Estelle Anand noted the other services provided by the supermarket.
“I like the coffee, parking and they sell pork so it’s a bonus for me. Better trolleys I guess; they’ve got a nice range of things as well,” Ms Nand said.
Jasmita Singh of Velovelo, Lautoka echoed similar sentiments.
“This is my first time over here, it’s really nice, and it’s really pretty and something new to our city. It’s got variety and a wide range of things; I absolutely love it,” she said.
