Reckless Driver Behaviour a Worry

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is always concerned with reckless driver behaviour, especially along active work sites.
FRA acting chief executive officer, Kamal Prasad, says the safety of their workers is paramount.
“We are requesting motorists to please obey all road signs, and drive within the speed limits to avoid accidents,” Mr Prasad said.
Mr Prasad says members of the public are advised that the 90 minutes’ peak hour delay on the Suva Nausori corridor continues to next week due to road rehabilitation works.
FRA is carrying out road improvement works at the main arterial roads, they will then proceed to other deteriorated sections on the residential and industrial roads between the Suva, Lami, and Nausori corridor.
