Vaccination drive through for Nadi residents starts today. Ministry of Health and Medical Services Head of Fiji’s COVID-19 Vaccination Task Force Doctor Rachel Devi said they were starting with Nadi today at the Nadi International Airport.

She said details on what time this would begin would be confirmed later.

Dr Devi said a similar programme would be held in Lautoka too but a vaccination drive through location was yet to be confirmed.

She said Ba has been doing exceptionally well after achieving 100 percent of first dose vaccinations as of yesterday and 7.1 percent for second doses however existing drive through vaccinations would continue to be operational.

Suva vaccination drive through continues at Albert Park and Dr Devi said: “Our vaccination drives will remain for some time, I think it will be a weekly thing, between five to seven hundred a day for dose 1 and dose 2,” she said.

She said in terms of a drive through vaccination in the Northern Division, a process would need to be followed

“Well for vaccinations, there’s technical issues around it, and the need is quite a lot in the Central Vitilevu area. I think the North is doing pretty well.

Our vaccination drives will remain for some time, I think it will be a weekly thing, between five to seven hundred a day for dose 1 and dose 2.
