VACCINATION DECISION

A teacher had posted on social media that he won’t be vaccinated and would move to the village with his family. This newspaper contacted him yesterday for a comment, for the risk he had taken as he was earning for his family. Also the decision he took will be a risk to the villagers if they are not vaccinated. He responded and said, he had changed his decision and decided to get vaccinated and maintain his job. Just an advice from BTL to all civil servants: Before making any decision of not getting vaccinated please think of the risk you have taken towards the safety of your children and the people around you.

LOGANI BORDER

Please if you won’t make it to the Logani border to pick the vegetables and root crops you ordered, then don’t order in the first place. Our rural people work hard to get their crops from the farms, pack it and pay for transportation to deliver fresh crops and vegetables to you.. Don’t order, if you won’t pay and won’t pick. On the otherhand, thank you to the farmers who are selling at the Logani border, trying to earn some money. Times are hard.

MORE AWARENESS

More vaccination awareness is needed in Tailevu North. BTL was informed a medical team went to a village to provide vaccination but they were told to leave. They were informed no one wanted to be vaccinated. Nearby residents who lived in settlements missed out on this opprotunity and had to make their own way to Korovou Town to receive their first dose.
