ASSURANCE AGENCY CELEBRATES 4TH ANNIVERSARY
Shahrufh Shah has been an insurance agent with The New India Assurance Agency since 2017.
This week Shah Agency celebrates reaching a new milestone – its fourth anniversary of operation.
Within four years, Mr Shah had invested close to $40,000 in his business. His products including motor comprehensive, house owners/householders insurance (fire and cyclone, Business Income, fidelity guarantee, Contractors All Risk, Public Liability and Burglary).
1. Where is your business located? In the last four years, we have established offices in Nadi, Labasa and Nasinu.
How has your services benefitted Fijians over the years?
We provides general insurance services to general public. We also provide services during weekends and also after hours to accommodate working and needy Clients.
Who do you dedicated your success to?
My mother plays a vital role in the development of this company, with great morals of honesty integrity and ethicality. The upbringing values have been great investment in Shah as a person to successfully address clients and serve clients with utmost pleasure.
My wife, being my better half and admin manager has tremendously contributed to the growth of my ventures as well. My staff colleagues always uphold the company policies to serve clients. We always have happy clients end of the day.

There are seven staff in the 3 branches.
Any challenges years?

There have been many challenges faces but the company had the capability of overcoming all issues. Our Sigatoka branch is temporarily closed due to the pandemic but we will bounce back and be back to serve the community from early next year.
Comment on your progress over the four years?
Today stamps our mark in the business sector and we wish to remind the clients that we are here to serve them and attend them and give back to them during these trying times and the new normal Fiji. product as we see the needs arise.
