Digicel Business launches Unified Collaboration with Cisco Webex
igicel Business has launched Digicel UCaaS or Unified Collaboration, as a service with Webex.
The launch marks the next chapter in innovative technologies, Digicel said in a statement.
Digicel Fiji chief executive officer, Farid Mohammed, said the move marks a partnership with the global leading provider of video conferencing and messaging solutions, Cisco.
“This will bring the bestin-class complete collaboration experience, seamlessly delivering BroadWorks calling solutions with Cisco Webex advanced messaging and meeting capabilities, all within a single app,” he said.
“Digicel UCaaS is a fresh, all-in-one collaboration solution that’s delivered via the Webex app.
“Our customers can choose from flexible packages that range from basic softphone to premium meetings, allowing for up to one thousand participants in a single meeting.
Webex provides: direct and team chats, screen sharing,
emojis and GIPHYS, one-click, easy-to-join meetings, and
■simp●e file sharing to
name a few.
Bonus
“As a bonus, customers can enjoy access to hundreds of pre-built integrations available for third-party applications, such as Google, Salesforce, Microsoft and more,” Mr Mohammed said.
“UCaaS with Webex will transform businesses by allowing them the option to collaborate remotely, and by helping team members share creative ideas quickly and effectively.
“People can engage and innovate: anywhere, any time, on any device.”
Mr Mohammed said Digicel’s Cisco collaboration made it easier to receive office extension calls on one’s mobile device.
“You don’t have to be sitting in your office to take extension calls and even better you can use the same platform to engage in hosting meetings, inviting members to join the meeting, exchange and unlock business intelligence,” he said.
Difference
Digicel Cisco collaboration tools have made a major difference in how information technology is perceived and ultimately improving to one platform that does helps organisations to be more effectively operational, Mr Mohammed said.
Digicel Fiji is working with Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat and the Fiji Higher Education organisation as the first customers to use the new Digicel UCaaS solution product offer.
“The proof of concept testing and the feedback from the organization has been great.
“We can’t wait to bring you on board.”
