TOPEX is Back
The long-awaited event is round the corner. The Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation (FCEF) organise, Top Executive Conference (TOPEX) is scheduled November 12 to 13.
FCEF chief executive officer, Kameli Batiweti said FCEF was unable to host the event in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said the theme of the conference, ‘Resilient Business Ready for Tomorrow, 2030’ was apt as every business had suffered the consequence of the global pandemic.
“Being resilient is the ability for one to be able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions,” he said.
“Therefore, the speakers (in the conference) will be speaking to the theme to share some best practices with the participants on how to become resilient.”
Mr Batiweti said the conference would give an opportunity for chief executive officers, managing directors and leaders of companies to share stories of best practices utilised during the pandemic.
“We have kept the programme the same because the issues faced in May are still prevalent in November and will continue to be prevalent in time to come,” he added.
The conference would target approximately 200 participants, he said.
“Already, we have exceeded the 50 per cent mark and we are encouraging our Members to book early to avoid disappointment.”
The conference will be held at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa in Denarau Island, Nadi.
“It will be an excellent opportunity for the senior executives, attending this conference, to gather together to network, to hear and share some best practices and to learn from one another.
“With the resort newly renovated, the participants will get the opportunity, not only to enjoy the conference, but to also experience and enjoy their stay at the resort,” he said.
The conference was earlier postponed from because of the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
Registrations for the conference close at 4pm on Friday October 29,
