We currently employ five local instructors who have completed their Ratings via our own Flight Instructor Rating Approval.
Helicopter training
Pacific Flying School is also planning to introduce helicopter flight training in 2022 as well. A major advantage of the Pacific Flying School being part of the Joyce Aviation Fiji Group is that the students have involvement with the charter operations of Sunflower Aviation and Heli-Tours Fiji. One good example is very own former student who is now flying for Skydive and charter operation for Sunflower Aviation, Kavishneel Kapoor.
“Ever since I was small, I was fascinated while looking at planes flying over my house,” Mr Kapoor said.
“I used to dream about planes and think what if I could also fly high and fast! Eventually that fascination turned into ambition and in 2017, it turned into a reality when I joined Pacific Flying School to learn to fly.
“On July 7th, 2017, I got my first solo flight and to be honest that feeling of taking control of the aircraft for the first time alone and experiencing that adrenaline rush is indescribable. I think one of my best and memorable school days was spent at Pacific Flying School with the best learning environment.
“If I can give one piece of advice to anyone, it would be to Be passionate about what you want to do and work towards it, keep learning and I promise you, you’ll enjoy it”.
