As you get selected into an organization it is extremely vital that you develop the FISH within you.

I am sure you would be a bit startled with what I have just said, but then this fish is not the same as you see swimming in the waters. The fish I am referring to are four qualities to help you become impacting and productive.

Fearless- The first alphabet of the FISH is ‘F’ and it means becoming Fearless especially in your communication. Whether, in a meeting or a ‘one on one’ discussion you must never become nervous or shy to express your perspectives. I have seen many new joiners start off on a nervous tone and that is something you must never be.Your fearlessness to express will create a positive impact upon your seniors and colleagues about your overall self-confidence.

Initiative- Especially as new-comer it is important that you take initiative to make things happen rather than wait for things to happen. Here too your fearless attitude to will help you to take the initiative and make the first ‘move’.

Silence- Expressing your thoughts and ideas is great and you must keep doing that, however, every day, for at least ten minutes you must practice the art of silence.Yes! You must always make some time for interacting with your‘self’ especially in terms assessing the manner in which your day progressed or regressed.

Silence will always help you in building tremendous clarity and conviction.

Happy- I have seen a lot of employees who have the habit complaining and ‘cribbing’ despite having a good set responsibilities and salary. They seem perpetually unsatisfied and unhappy. I believe it is extremely essential to celebrate the work you have been delegated and along with it keep yearning for more.
