Marriott Marks Fiji Day In Colourful Way
Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay celebrated Fiji Day by their Lagoon beach with a backdrop of their famous Overwater Bures surrounded by guests and staff to mark Fiji’s 51 years of independence.
The Fiji Day weekend marked the return of dining at Fish Bar, offering guests a unique A La Carte dining experience, with live music, catching striking sunsets overlooking the infinity pool and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
During the day, guests had the option to experience a rejuvenating
Quan Spa treatment, relax by the pool with a refreshing beverage such as our Fiji Day or Pinktober themed cocktails, stay active at the in-door gym or play a match of tennis, join our Cocktail Masterclass or take part in the day’s program organised by our activities team.
Goji Kitchen and Bar

The resort welcomed Olympian Cheyenne Rova to celebrate Fiji Day with guests and staff.
Partnering
Ms Rova represented Fiji in many international competitions, most recently represented our proud nation at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
She is partnering with Tourism Fiji to discover and showcase unique products and experiences in the Western region of Viti Levu as part of Tourism Fiji’s Love Our Locals campaign.
“I had such a wonderful stay,” Ms Rova said.
“The Overwater Bure was so comfortable,
the Marriott staff were so welcoming, delicious food at both Goji Kitchen and Fish Bar restaurants.
“The hotel was booked near capacity for the weekend, but I felt safe with just how naturally spacious the hotel is and all the spaces to roam and explore on my own,” said Ms Rova.
Flag hoisting
