JR Group Fiji to launch Fijian restaurant at Port Denarau Marina

Sails restaurant is now part of the JR Group. The restaurant will be in the yacht club building at Port Denarau Marina.

Sails restaurant is designed to be an exciting new addition to Fiji’s Tourism experience by offering authentic Fijian Cuisine capturing the unique flavors of Fiji through the passion and traditions of our unique culture.

After an 18 month disruption to tourism due to the COVID-19 pandemic, JR Group has scheduled late December 2021, as the restaurant’s opening date.

“Our farm and ocean to fork approach will further add to the authentic experience whilst supporting locals within the value chain,” JR Group said in a statement.

“We are committed to delivering the freshness of the seafood from the pristine oceans of Fiji together with the tastes from our local farms.

“Your dining experience will be significan­tly enhanced by the comfortabl­e décor and exciting location of the restaurant, as well as the friendly service offered by our guest experience staff.

Sails will be open from 7am for breakfast ,and will remain open through to the later hours of the night to provide an after dark option to sip a relaxing drink while being serenaded by live entertainm­ent.

“Our 200-seat restaurant facility, with a fit-out cost of approximat­ely $1 million, will operate from the ground floor and will feature seating options such as intimate booths, terrace and indoor dining complete with a deck over the water and expansive views to the north and east across the marina to the natural beauty beyond.”
